"The battery extension is a great product. While the cords from the battery are long enough, the contacts eventually fail. Then you may have to buy a new battery. With the extension, you simply replace the extension. This happened to me last month. Battery started intermittently failing, replaced extension, hasn’t failed since."

"I have one of the original models, and had a battery cage mounted on the vertical post. Rather than order the trailing wheel for more stability climbing steep hills, I move the battery cage to the lower post and used the extension to plug into the controller. It works great."
