Safety Information

Your trolley is built to aviation-grade standards, but safe operation is your responsibility. Read these precautions before first use.

General precautions

  • Always operate your trolley in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Do not use the trolley to transport people, animals, or heavy equipment.
  • Do not operate the trolley under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
  • Keep the trolley away from water, including puddles and rain whenever possible.
  • Always keep the trolley within your line of sight during operation.

Safe use

  • Practice in open areas to become familiar with the controls before first use.
  • Be cautious on uneven, wet, steep, or unstable ground.
  • Do not aim the trolley toward other people, vehicles, or hazards.
  • Use extra caution near bridges, bunkers, sprinkler holes, ditches, cart paths, parking lots, water hazards, and steep drop-offs.
  • Use Send Ahead only in open, hazard-free areas where you have a clear view of the trolley's full path.

Battery safety

  • Fully charge the battery before first use.
  • Use only the supplied charger.
  • Do not expose the battery to extreme temperatures.
  • Do not submerge the battery in water.
  • Disconnect the battery before storing the trolley for one week or longer.
Caution

Water and electronics do not mix. Damage caused by water submersion is not covered under warranty. In the event of total submersion the manufacturer may recommend full replacement of the trolley.

Operation Guide

Trolley Mode · DHC · Send Ahead · Free-Wheel. Tips, tricks, and best practices for every round.

Mode 01

Trolley Mode

Powered assist with manual steering. Use for general play across the full course.

Best for

  • General play, all terrains
  • Parking lots
  • Areas near hazards
  • Narrow terrain where you want physical control

To use

  1. Rotate the speed dial clockwise to set your desired speed.
  2. Press and release the speed dial to activate the motors.
  3. Press and release again to deactivate the motors.
P  Park mode

When the motors are stopped, the display shows P for Park. The gears are engaged and the trolley is parked. Once the motors are engaged again, Park mode is deactivated and the trolley will move forward.

Turning in Trolley Mode

Steer the trolley by manually turning the handle. If the front wheel is digging into soft or wet ground, you may assist turning by applying slight downward pressure to the handle to take some weight off the front wheel.

Downhill braking

Downhill Speed Control (DHC) activates automatically on descents. See the DHC section below for full details.

Automatic · Always Active · No Buttons

Downhill Speed
Control (DHC)

When the trolley senses it is accelerating due to gravity on a descent, DHC automatically applies braking force to maintain a steady, controlled walking pace.

How it works

  • DHC is fully automatic. There is no button to engage or disengage it.
  • It activates whenever the trolley detects downhill acceleration.
  • It remains fully active during a Send Ahead.
  • No action required. Walk at your normal pace.
An assist, not a guarantee

DHC is designed to assist the user, not replace attentive supervision. Always keep the trolley within sight and under control.

On steep terrain

  • Stay close to the trolley on steep slopes.
  • Keep a hand on or near the handle for additional control.
  • Travel straight up or down steep hills rather than traversing across the slope.
  • If conditions feel unsafe, use Free-Wheel Mode and guide the trolley manually.
Mode 02 · Distance Control

Send Ahead

Send the trolley forward a preset distance and it parks automatically while you finish at your current spot.

Best for

  • Open fairways with clear sightlines
  • Flat or gently sloping terrain
  • Areas free of hazards in the trolley's path

To use

  1. Confirm the path ahead is clear of people, hazards, and obstacles.
  2. Press and hold the speed dial. The display shows d1 by default.
  3. Rotate the dial to cycle to d2 or d3 if needed.
  4. Press the dial to launch. The trolley travels the selected distance then parks automatically.
  5. The display returns to P when done.
Cancelling mid-send

Press the speed dial at any time during a Send Ahead to stop the trolley immediately and enter Park.

Send Ahead & DHC

Downhill Speed Control remains fully active during a Send Ahead. If the trolley encounters a descent during the send, DHC automatically moderates speed.

Best practices

  • Use Send Ahead only in open, hazard-free areas.
  • Always confirm the trolley's full path is clear before launching.
  • Stay within line of sight at all times.
  • Be ready to press the speed dial to cancel if anything enters the path.
  • Avoid using Send Ahead on side slopes where the trolley may drift off-line.
Do not use Send Ahead near

Water hazards, bridges, parking lots, bunkers, steep slopes, cart paths, or areas where other people or equipment may enter the path.

Mode 03

Free-Wheel Mode

Disengage the drive and push by hand.

Best for

Use Free-Wheel Mode when you need to push the trolley manually, such as when the battery is out of power.

To use

  1. Depress the wheel release button.
  2. Slide each wheel approximately ¼ inch away from the trolley to expose the drive pin.
  3. Lock the wheels into place.
  4. Confirm the wheels rotate freely by hand and are not engaged in drive mode.
Re-engaging the drive

Slide each wheel fully back onto the axle until it seats over the drive pin and locks. Confirm both wheels are fully engaged before powering on again.

Troubleshooting

Most issues resolve with a few quick checks. Work through the relevant list before contacting support.

Trolley veers to one side
  • Confirm the golf bag is balanced evenly.
  • Make sure both drive wheels are fully engaged.
  • Test on open, flat ground.
  • If needed, very minor adjustments to the front axle may be needed.
Battery not charging
  • Confirm the charger is plugged into a working outlet.
  • Confirm the charger light is illuminated.
  • Confirm the battery LEDs illuminate when connected to the charger.
  • If the outlet has power and the charger is not functioning properly, the charger or power cable may be at fault.
Send Ahead does not engage
  • Confirm the trolley is fully powered on and in standard Trolley Mode.
  • Make sure the trolley is stopped and in Park before pressing and holding the dial.
  • If the display does not show d1, release the dial, wait a few seconds, and try again.
Send Ahead behaviour is inconsistent
  • Confirm the bag is balanced evenly.
  • Confirm the path is flat or gently sloping, as heavy side slopes cause drift.
  • Confirm both drive wheels are fully engaged.
  • Test on open, flat ground first.
Trolley stops randomly (display off)
  • Remove the battery from the battery tray.
  • Clear out any debris inside the tray.
  • Reseat the battery until it locks with a click.
  • Confirm the battery is secure before powering back on.
