Safety Information
Your trolley is built to aviation-grade standards, but safe operation is your responsibility. Read these precautions before first use and keep them in mind every round.
General Precautions
- Always operate your trolley in a safe and responsible manner.
- Do not use the trolley to transport people, animals, or heavy equipment.
- Do not operate the trolley under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- Keep the trolley away from water, including puddles and rain whenever possible.
- Always keep the trolley within your line of sight during operation.
Safe Use
- Practice in open areas to become familiar with the controls before first use.
- Be cautious on uneven, wet, steep, or unstable ground.
- Do not aim the trolley toward other people, vehicles, or hazards.
- Use extra caution near bridges, bunkers, sprinkler holes, ditches, cart paths, parking lots, water hazards, and steep drop-offs.
Battery Safety
- Fully charge the battery before first use.
- Use only the supplied charger.
- Do not expose the battery to extreme temperatures.
- Do not submerge the battery in water.
- Disconnect the battery before storing the trolley for one week or longer.
Water and electronics do not mix. Damage caused by water submersion is not covered under warranty, and in the event of total submersion the manufacturer may recommend full replacement of the trolley.

Assembly & Setup
Set up takes only a few minutes. Work through these steps in order: wheels first, then the frame, then the battery and your bag.
Wheel Installation
- Press the locking button on the wheel.
- Slide the wheel fully onto the axle.
- Make sure the wheel is fully seated over the drive pin.
- Confirm both wheels are fully engaged before use.
Anti-Tip Wheel
- Pull out the anti-tip wheel locking pin.
- Slide the anti-tip wheel post into the receiver housing.
- Set the wheel in the desired position. Choose storage (fully inserted) or operating (extended for use).
Do not apply unnecessary downward force to the anti-tip wheel.
Frame & Handle Setup
- Release the frame lock by pressing down on the frame and moving the lock into the lowered position.
- Lift the frame until it locks into place.
- Release the handle latch.
- Raise the handle to the desired height, then close the latch securely.
Battery Installation
- Place the battery into the battery tray.
- Press until the battery locks in place with a click.
- Confirm the battery is secure before operating the trolley.
Mounting Your Golf Bag
- Place the golf bag on the lower bag rest.
- Lean the bag into the upper bag support.
- Pull the bungee handles around the bag and secure them on the hook side.
- Adjust strap tension as needed for a firm hold.
For best tracking and stability, make sure the bag weight is balanced evenly from side to side. Uneven bag weight can cause drifting and reduced performance.
Main Display
The integrated display keeps the information you need in view at a glance: battery levels for both the trolley and the remote, plus low-battery warnings.
Trolley Battery Meter
The main trolley battery level is shown across the bottom of the display.
Remote Battery Meter
When connected, the remote battery level is shown in the upper portion of the display.
Low Battery Warning
The red battery bars indicate the battery is very low and should be recharged before use.
Recharge before your next round. Running the battery flat on the course leaves you pushing in Free-Wheel Mode.
Remote Control Overview
Know your handset before you take it on the course. Every button has a specific function. Some buttons do different things depending on what the trolley is doing.
Tap to lock or unlock the remote.
Press and hold to power the remote on or off.
Powered on: LED flashes blue 3 times (unlocked)
Powered off: LED flashes red 3 times
After 3 minutes with no button pressed, the remote auto-locks to prevent accidental presses. If the trolley stops responding, tap the red power / lock button to unlock and continue.
Charging & Battery Care
Treat the battery well and it will serve you for many seasons. Follow the charging sequence exactly, and keep the cells topped up between rounds.
Charging the Main Battery
- Plug the battery into the charger first.
- Confirm the battery LEDs illuminate, showing a proper connection.
- Plug the charger into the wall outlet.
- After charging, unplug the charger from the wall first, then disconnect the battery from the charger.
Main Battery Care
- Never leave the battery in an uncharged state.
- Recharge after every golf outing, even if you only played 9 holes.
- Avoid leaving the battery uncharged for extended periods.
- Charge the battery every 30 days during inactivity.
Charging the Remote
- Use the supplied charging cable.
- A 5V / 1A adapter is recommended.
- Disconnect the charging cable once charging is complete.
The lower right side of the remote may become warm during charging. This is normal.
Operating Modes
The FORMULA Remote operates in several modes. Choose the mode that fits the terrain and how much control you want, and switch freely as conditions change.
Best For
To Use
- Rotate the speed dial clockwise to increase speed.
- Press and release the speed dial to activate the motors.
- Press again to deactivate the motors.
Turning
Steer by manually turning the handle. If the front wheel is digging into soft or wet ground, apply slight downward pressure on the handle to take weight off the front wheel and assist the turn.
Downhill Braking
The trolley has automatic downhill braking. When it senses it is accelerating due to gravity, it begins to slow itself to help you maintain control.
When manually stopping, the display shows P for Park. The gears are engaged and the trolley is parked. Re-engage the motors and Park deactivates, moving the trolley forward.
Best For
To Use
- Turn the remote on by pressing and holding the red power / lock button.
- On power-on, the LED flashes blue 3 times and the remote is unlocked.
- Press any directional command to enter Remote Mode.
Speed Control
- Tap the forward control to start moving forward.
- Tap forward again to increase forward speed.
- Tap reverse to reduce forward speed slightly.
- Use the directional controls to steer.
- Press the center STOP button to stop. The trolley then goes into Park automatically.
Reverse Button: Two Functions
Stationary: press and hold to back up slowly; release to stop.
Moving forward: tap to reduce forward speed slightly. This is the normal way to slow down in Remote Mode.
Status LED
Braking
In any mode, the trolley senses downhill movement and automatically applies braking to help prevent runaway. If more slowing is needed, reduce speed with the controls and keep the trolley under close supervision.
Range & Safe Use
The trolley operates at significant range, but best performance comes from keeping it close and within clear line of sight. Never place an unlocked remote in your pocket: accidental presses can send the trolley into unsafe situations. Lock the remote when not actively driving.
Buttons 1 and 2 can each be set to a preferred walking speed. Set them for the current round or save them permanently in Programming Mode. Use one speed for open fairways, another for slower terrain.
Set a Preset Speed
- In Remote Mode, use the up and down buttons to reach your desired speed.
- Press and hold Button 1 (or Button 2) until the status LED turns solid blue.
- Keep holding the button and, at the same time, press and hold the STOP button until the LED turns off.
The trolley stops first, then the remote LED turns off. The button is now set to the new speed for this session.
This speed stays set until you power down the trolley. To keep it permanently, save it in Programming Mode.
Save the Speed Permanently
- With the trolley and remote both on, press and hold Button 1 (or Button 2). Within one second, also press and hold the lock / unlock button, holding both together.
- The trolley moves forward, confirming you are in Programming Mode. Release both buttons.
- Press the reverse arrow. The trolley stops within half a second.
- Press the STOP button twice to save and quit.
If the trolley keeps moving after you press the reverse arrow, you did not enter Programming Mode correctly. Stop the trolley with the STOP button and start again from step 1.
Best For
Use Free-Wheel Mode if you need to push the trolley manually, such as when the battery is out of power.
To Use
- Depress the wheel release button.
- Slide each wheel approximately 1/4 inch away from the trolley to expose the drive pin.
- Lock the wheels into place.
- Confirm the wheels rotate freely by hand and are not engaged in drive mode.
To return to powered modes, slide each wheel fully back onto the axle until it seats over the drive pin and locks. Confirm both wheels are fully engaged before operating.
Remote Pairing
If the trolley and remote become unpaired, or if a new remote is being used, the remote must be paired again. Follow this procedure carefully.
Pairing Procedure
- Plug the battery into the trolley.
- Turn on the trolley by pressing and holding the speed dial knob for two seconds.
- Put the trolley into standby by pressing and holding the speed dial knob again for two seconds. The center of the display turns off while the outer portion stays lit, and the remote icon flashes.
- Turn the remote on.
- Press and hold buttons 1 and 2 together.
- The remote status LED shows red and blue at the same time; it is now in pairing mode.
- Wait for the units to communicate. Once paired, the trolley display shows Rc.
Power off both the trolley and remote, restart both units, and repeat the pairing steps.
Standby mode keeps the outer display ring lit with the remote icon flashing. This is the state you need for pairing, not fully powered off.
Slope Control & Performance Tips
The trolley is equipped with onboard slope control technology that helps it maintain its intended line in Remote Mode, assisting with minor steering corrections caused by side slopes, bumps, or uneven fairway terrain.
Slope control is intended to assist the user, not replace attentive supervision. Always keep the trolley within sight and under control.
Weight Distribution
Optimal performance comes from an evenly weighted golf bag. With a carry or stand bag, you may need to redistribute items in the pockets to improve side-to-side balance. Uneven weight can contribute to drift.
Operating Advice
Operate according to course conditions. Use Manual Mode around hazards and unpredictable terrain to maintain closer physical control of the unit.
Terrain Tips

Care & Maintenance
A few minutes of care after dusty or sandy rounds keeps your trolley running smoothly for years. Never use water under pressure.
Cleaning
- Never hose down the trolley.
- Never use a pressure washer on the trolley.
- Remove large debris with a cloth or air compressor.
- Wipe down using a clean, damp microfiber cloth.
- Regularly inspect and clean the wheels and axles so they turn freely.
- Clean out the battery tray regularly to remove debris.
Storage
- Disconnect the battery before storing for extended periods.
- Store the trolley and battery in a dry location.
- Keep components away from standing water and extreme temperatures.
Water ingress is not covered by warranty. Never submerge the battery or leave it in a hot car.
Lubrication
- Lubricate the rear wheel axles regularly.
- Remove the rear wheels by depressing the spring clip and pulling the wheel off.
- Wipe the axle clean with a rag.
- Apply a very small amount of light lubricant to the axle.
If you play in sandy conditions, clean and re-lubricate the axles frequently.
Warranty Information
The trolley comes with a limited warranty covering manufacturing defects. FORMULA or an authorized service center will repair or replace parts found to be defective in materials or workmanship under normal use, provided the trolley has been properly used, maintained, and serviced, and repairs are performed by an authorized service center or with approval.

Warranty-Voiding Events
- Battery damage from improper charging
- Unauthorized repairs or alterations
- Use of non-recommended parts or accessories
- Continued use after a known defect
- Water submersion
- Driving into hazards
- Damage from golf balls or clubs
- Excessive force, overheating, overload, or misuse
In the event of total submersion, the manufacturer may recommend full replacement of the trolley.

ShopTroubleshooting
Most issues resolve with a few quick checks. Work through the relevant section below before contacting support.
Trolley veers to one side
- Confirm the golf bag is balanced evenly.
- Make sure both drive wheels are fully engaged.
- Test on open, flat ground.
- If needed, motor trimming may require adjustment.
Battery not charging
- Confirm the charger is plugged into a working outlet.
- Confirm the charger light is illuminated.
- Confirm the battery LEDs illuminate when connected.
- If the outlet has power but the charger isn't working, the charger or power cable may be at fault.
Remote not responding
- Confirm the remote is unlocked, tap the red button if needed.
- Confirm the remote is charged.
- Confirm the trolley is powered on.
- Pair the remote again if necessary (see Section 08).
Trolley stops randomly (display off)
- Remove the battery from the battery tray.
- Clear out any debris inside the tray.
- Reseat the battery until it locks with a click.
- Confirm the battery is secure before powering back on.
