Before you order a new handset
One thing worth trying first, since it fixes most of these: put a fresh battery in the remote and re-pair it. Full steps here: (FORMULA Remote Owners Manual)

You'll know the remote is entering pairing mode when the status LED shows red and blue at the same time. If it never does that with a good battery in it, the handset is the problem and you'll want the replacement. 

Will this remote work with my FORMULA Pursuit?
No. The Pursuit uses a different handset with a green follow button and a blue C button. This one has two grey buttons marked 1 and 2 and works only with the FORMULA Remote trolley.

What are the 1 and 2 buttons for?
They're preset cruise control speeds. Set your two most-used speeds and switch between them without touching the dial.

Do I need to pair a new handset to my trolley?
Yes. Any new or replacement remote has to be paired before first use. It takes about two minutes with no tools.
