Before you order a new handset
One thing worth trying first, since it fixes most of these: charge or replace the remote's power source and re-pair it. Pairing steps are in Section 08 of the FORMULA Pursuit Owner's Manual.

The quick version: put the trolley in standby by holding the speed dial knob for two seconds until the outer ring stays lit and the remote icon flashes, turn the remote on, then press and hold the C and F buttons together. The LED in the upper-left corner shows red and blue at the same time when it enters pairing mode. If it never does that with good power, the handset is the problem and you'll want this replacement.

FAQ

Will this remote work with my FORMULA Remote trolley?
No. The FORMULA Remote uses a different handset with two grey buttons marked 1 and 2. This one has a green F button and a blue C button, and works only with the Pursuit.

Does this handset control follow mode?
Yes. The green F button engages follow mode, which is the main reason the Pursuit handset differs from the one used on the FORMULA Remote. A Remote handset cannot control follow mode on any cart.

What does the blue C button do?
This is a programable Cruise Control button.  This will allow for your caddy to go to a preset speed in remote operation mode (out in front of you).

How do I pair a new Pursuit handset?
Put the trolley into standby with the speed dial knob, turn the remote on, then hold the C and F buttons together until the upper-left LED shows red and blue. The trolley display shows Rc when pairing succeeds. Takes about two minutes, no tools.

Is this a genuine FORMULA part?
Yes. Same handset that ships with a new FORMULA Pursuit, sourced direct. Not a third-party copy.
